Erica Robinson is her mother who announced and confirmed the death of her daughter on the social media pages on which she announced the news concerning her on the 3rd day of February. In her post, Robinson declared her dead, declaring that her 18-year-old daughter had been shot, and she shared with her a photo of her daughter taken by her former father. Both were wearing the same red t-shirts. The police have confirmed that Gatlin was shot dead at the intersection of Barnes Street in Jackson. The entire incident occurred at 8:40 pm Thursday evening.
